Foreman – Piping and Machinery

The Piping and Machinery Department within the Production Division at Green Yard Kleven is seeking a Foreman.

Typical duties and responsibilities include:

  • Operational supervision, including coordination and allocation of tasks for internal and external personnel

  • Planning and execution of projects

  • Work assignments related to both newbuild activities and ship recycling

  • Ensuring that all work is carried out with a strong focus on Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and quality

  • Foremen are expected to act as working foremen when time and project requirements allow

Qualifications:

  • Relevant trade certificate, preferably as an Industrial Pipefitter, Industrial Mechanic, or Marine/Engine Mechanic, or relevant education from a technical college or university. Extensive relevant experience may compensate for formal education

  • Solid knowledge of welding, piping, and machinery

  • Experience as a foreman or supervisor is an advantage

  • Proficiency in both Norwegian and English, written and spoken
