The Hurtigruten ship MS Vesterålen ordered Green Yard Kleven to carry out a conversion. The assignment was to install a new system for walkways on MS Vesterålen. This involved building a new shaft that goes over three decks, with associated remodeling of furnishings and doors. The assignment also provided work for local suppliers.
- It is good to be back at Kleven, and we think it was nice that our good friends at Kleven delivered the best offer. We use the time well while the ships are in storage to do planned maintenance and upgrades. At the same time, we are creating activity in the maritime industry in several towns on the coast, says press officer Tarjei Kramviken in Hurtigruten.
